Manchester City winger Leroy Sane played the full 90 minutes as Germany sealed a 1-0 victory over England in an international friendly in Dortmund.

Galatasaray striker Lukas Podolski scored the only goal in his final international match but Sane also impressed for Joachim Low’s world champions.

The 21-year-old played the full match and even came close to doubling the hosts’ lead with a powerful effort late in the second half.
