Stuart Armstrong opened the scoring for the Hoops but the visitors fought back with a Clint Hill strike on 87 minutes.
Meanwhile, Billy O’Brien kept a clean sheet as St Mirren were held to a goalless draw by Dunfermline.

A league above, Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield were on the winning side once again, with a 1-0 triumph at Brentford. The Australian was introduced from the bench on 57 minutes
In Italy, Bruno Zuculini helped Hellas Verona to a 1-0 triumph at Brescia, playing the full game.
Though he completed 91 minutes, Olivier Ntcham could not continue his fine scoring form, as Genoa fell to a 1-0 home defeat against Sampdoria.
In the Netherlands, it was a day to forget for City’s loanees at Twente, who fell to a 3-0 loss at Ajax. Enes Unal played the full game, while Bersant Celina was replaced on 75 minutes and Yaw Yeboah was an unused substitute.
Of the Blues five representatives at NAC Breda, only two featured in the 1-0 victory over Telstar: James Horsfield (90 minutes) and Manu Garcia (87 minutes). Brandon Barker was not in the squad.
