Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph have both withdrawn from the England squad for the upcoming friendlies with Germany and Brazil.
Sterling, who has scored 10 goals in all competitions for City so far this season, has suffered a back problem, while Delph injured his calf in the closing stages of the win over Arsenal on Sunday.
Both players will remain in Manchester to receive treatment and everyone at City wishes them speedy recoveries.
