Manchester City are once again well represented in the Premier League’s nominations for monthly awards.

The Blues won all three of their league matches in October, beating Stoke City 7-2, Burnley 3-0 and West Brom 3-2, and currently sit five points clear at the top of the table.

Pep Guardiola has been shortlisted for the Manager of the Month prize, alongside Sean Dyche, Mauricio Pochettino and Arsene Wenger.

Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane have both been nominated for the Player of the Month award. They will go up against Nacho Monreal (Arsenal), Glenn Murray (Brighton), Nick Pope (Burnley) and Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace).

And there are three City players up for the Goal of the Month award, all of which were scored in the win over Stoke. Fernandinho‘s thunderbolt that went in off the bar, Raheem Sterling coolly finishing off a fine team move and Leroy Sane‘s first-time finish from De Bruyne’s exquisite pass are all in contention.

Everyone at City would like to congratulate our October nominees.
