The England stopper was then faced with a penalty scenario in the second half, which resulted in Brighton’s third and final goal of the game.

To Spain now, loan duo Douglas Luiz and Pablo Maffeo could play for Girona in Monday night’s clash against Deportivo- both featured in last week’s Girona squad which suffered a 2-1 defeat to Villareal in La Liga.
