Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola made nine changes to his side to face Wolves in the Carabao Cup.

City XI: Bravo, Danilo, Mangala, Adarabioyo, Zinchenko, Bernardo, Toure, Sterling, Gündoğan , Agüero (C), Jesus

Substitutes: Ederson, Walker, Stones, De Bruyne, Delph, Sané, Nmecha

Potential tactics

Guardiola used the opportunity to give Claudio Bravo some game time in goal, while Oleksandr Zinchenko makes his full debut in what is likely to be left-back role. In central defence, Tosin Adarabioyo lines up for the first time this season alongside Frenchman Eliqaquim Mangala.

In central midfield Ilkay Gundogan and Yaya Toure feature, while Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling should occupy the wider roles.

Up front, a powerful looking strike duo of Sergio Aguero - looking to break the all-time City scoring record - and Gabriel Jesus start.

Elsewhere, 18-year-old Lukas Nmecha earned a call up to the first team squad alongside a host of first team regulars.
