Ed Francis, Matt Smith and Aleix Garcia all sealed a goal in pre-season friendlies over the past seven days as they prepare to begin the 2018/19 campaign.

Ed Francis – Almere City
The EDS defender kick-off his Almere debut with his side’s second goal in their 4-2 victory over Suriname.
Matt Smith – FC Twente
After recently making his debut, Smith was named in FC Twente’s starting eleven to face Turkish outfit Goztepe.
The teenager bagged his first goal in the 72nd minute of the friendly to make it 3-0 for the Holland club. He was substituted just a few minutes after his goal for team mate Van der Hayden.

Aleix Garcia – Girona
Garcia started for La Liga side, Girona, in another pre-season friendly against Tottenham. The Spanish club dominated and secured a 4-1 win over the Premier League club, with Garcia scoring on the hour mark.
Thierry Ambrose – RC Lens
Ambrose helped to continue RC Lens’ successful start to the Ligue 2 season with a 1-0 victory over Red Star.
Our loanee played 71 minutes and assisted Kevin Fortune with the only goal of the match.

Aro Muric and Paolo Fernandes – NAC Breda
Our loan players are yet to feature for the Dutch outfit as Breda begin their season on 12 August.
Tosin Adarabioyo – West Brom
West Brom continue their Championship campaign with an away trip to Nottingham Forest, which could see Tosin make his debut for the baggies.
