The trio missed Wednesday’s defeat at Leicester, with Fernandinho and Kompany having been sidelined since mid-December, and although they attended Saturday’s training session, Guardiola stated he is yet to decide whether they will feature at St Mary’s.
“Everybody is fit but some players have some problems,” he told press.
“We will decide tomorrow but Ferna, Gabriel Jesus and Kompany have been in training.

“I’ve said many times how important he (Fernandinho) is – his position and qualities.
“Of course, he is so important, like Kevin De Bruyne. We have to find a solution to win games.
“We tried (to recruit back-up) but the market was not there and it didn’t happen.”
Asked whether City’s injury situation would now force the Blues into the January transfer market, Guardiola dismissed the suggestion.
“I think my answer is clear,” he said. “It’s still the same (no transfers).”
The Catalan boss also declared he is pleased with the reaction of his players, following a third league defeat in four and has urged his side to complete a remarkable year on a high.
“The response is always good,” he continued. “Yesterday was a day off and now they are training as good as always.
“We have the belief – whether it’s after a win or loss. Of course, now we have to come back and win if we want to fight for trophies.
“They are heroes for me – nothing is going to change. There are just more and more games.
“I have to explain to them and see what we’ve done well and move forward. It’s very easy (to keep the players focused).
“To win, you have to play good. I will continue with that. The game (on Sunday) will speak for itself.
“We need help to win even more but it’s what you have to do to win.”
