Manchester City once again feature heavily in the Premier League’s monthly award nominations.
Pep Guardiola has been nominated for the Manager of the Month award after guiding City to six wins and a draw in December, including a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford and a resounding 4-1 win over Tottenham at the Etihad.
The Blues boss has already picked up the coveted prize three times this season and is now going for an unprecedented four in a row.
And Nicolas Otamendi, described by Pep as “superman” for his performances this season, has been nominated for the Player of the Month award.
