The City right-back has been telling his international team-mates that everything is possible ahead of the World Cup and his dream of becoming a champion with the Blues is all the proof needed.
“I had a dream at the start of the season with Manchester City to win the Premier League and we went on and did it,” said Walker.
“So, I’m just trying to get that over to the lads - that anything is possible.
“We just need to believe. It’s been a big point that in previous tournaments, we didn’t really believe. Now, I’ve said it in meetings, that if we believe in ourselves, we can achieve anything.
“I’ve seen a lot of players come and go and it was a different atmosphere before.
“I think now we all click and I’m comfortable sitting next to anyone at the table and talking to them about football or anything.
“I think that’s the environment we need to take into the World Cup, because the quality of the team will show for itself, but also the togetherness is going to pull us through.”
