33Sterling’s the talk of the Town
Raheem Sterling delivered countless crucial contributions over the course of City’s record-breaking season but his late, late winner at Huddersfield was a real stand-out moment.
In a feisty, hard-fought encounter at the home of the Premier League new-boys, it looked as though Pep Guardiola’s side’s bid for a record-creating 11th consecutive away win was destined to end in frustration.

Despite dominating possession and territory, City had fallen behind just before half-time to an unlucky Nicolas Otamendi own-goal.
City though responded in fine style shortly after the restart through a Sergio Aguero penalty and the Blues then laid virtual siege to the Terriers goal.
However, with 84 minutes on the clock it looked as if City were to be denied until Sterling once again proved the man of the moment.
A fine pass through to Gabriel Jesus from Kevin De Bruyne saw the striker denied by Huddersfield’s Jonas Lossl in the six-yard box but Sterling, ever-alert in following up, saw the ball bounce off him and loop up and over the keeper into the net to send the Blues’ travelling support wild and secure a dramatic War of the Roses triumph.
34The Tunnel Club
Trailblazers on the field, the advent of the Tunnel Club at the Etihad Stadium for the start of the 2017/18 represented another innovative first for City off it too.
Offering a unique, immersive experience for supporters, the Tunnel Club garnered widespread praise for the way it provides cutting-edge back-stage access to world-class football.
The glass surrounds afford spectators a first-hand view as the teams make their way to and from the pitch as well giving them an inside view on broadcast interviews for TV and the written media.
That’s on the top of unrivalled modern matchday hospitality which provides contemporary food and drink alongside exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the heart of Manchester City.
Then there are panoramic views of the Etihad Stadium with central-level seats close to the coaching dug-outs.
You could call it a beautiful setting in which to appreciate beautiful football...
