The Carabao Cup kicks off on the week commencing August 13, but City, current holders of the trophy, will enter the tournament at the third-round stage given our Champions League involvement.
Indeed, our European campaign will begin in September, with the group stage set to start on September 18/19.
And the FA Cup first round proper has been slated for the weekend of November 10/11, with City set to enter at the third-round stage, scheduled for the first weekend in January.
One fixture we already know is our Community Shield match against FA Cup winners Chelsea. That will take place on August 5 at Wembley Stadium.
And, don’t forget, the transfer window will close earlier this year. All deals will have to be concluded before the season starts, with the deadline now set at 5pm on August 9.
