City will attend a warm weather training break in Abu Dhabi next week.

The Blues will fly out after the Premier League game with Stoke City and stay in Abu Dhabi until the following Saturday.

There will be training sessions for the squad who will enjoy the warm temperatures to recharge their batteries for the Premier League run-in and possibly the Champions League quarter-finals.

Boss Pep Guardiola said: “This is an ideal opportunity for the players to enjoy some sunshine and prepare for the challenges that still lie ahead.

“We flew out to Abu Dhabi last year and it will be a pleasure to return this year.”

The players will return in time for their respective international break commitments.

The Blues return to action at the end of the month with a trip to Everton, before taking on Manchester United at the Etihad a week later.
