That’s the view of Bernardo Silva, who believes the intensity of City’s play – both with and without the ball – makes it difficult for opposition sides to contain us.
It’s an approach that has made City one of the most watchable sides in Europe, something the Portuguese playmaker feels is vital.
“We try to start each game with intensity, to get control of possession,” Bernardo said.
“When we lose the ball, we recover it as fast as we can. We try to score goals, play offensive football and win games.
We want to make our fans happy because that’s important.

“And, yeah, we’ve been doing a good job so far and we want to keep doing it that way.”
City are currently 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, with eight matches remaining.
If we win our next two games, against Everton and Manchester United, we will be crowned champions for the fifth time, adding the league title to the Carabao Cup success sealed last month.
And it could get even better, with City on course to break 10 Premier League records, including most wins, biggest points margin and most goals.
But Bernardo, who has scored three goals in his last seven matches, says getting over the line is the squad’s primary focus.
“Honestly, we don’t think much about that [breaking records],” he said.
“We just want to win the Premier League, that’s the most important thing, it doesn’t matter how.
“But, of course, if you can win it and break a few records, it’s even more special, so we will try to do that, we play all the games to win so that’s what we will do from now until the end of the season.
“Normally in the Premier League you have six teams - sometimes more as we saw with Leicester – who can win it. It’s true this season the gap is a little bit bigger than usual.
“But it’s good for us, it means we are doing a fantastic job and I think the way we played this seven, eight months until now, it’s well-deserved the position we have in the league and want to win the title as soon as we can.”
Bernardo, 23, joined City in the summer from Monaco, and after an initial period of adjustment he has now established himself as a key member of Pep Guardiola‘s side.
He has played 45 times so far this term, with his influence steadily increasing as the season has progressed.
He believes adapting to the Premier League was always going to throw up difficulties - but says he’s delighted to be involved in a side playing so well.
“I’m enjoying a lot,” he said.
“It’s a good season to be a Man City player or supporter.
It’s been fantastic so far and we want to keep it that way.
“We always try to win our games. We want to win the Premier League as quickly as we can. We already won the Carabao Cup, that was an important competition for us. And the Champions League, everyone knows it’s a special one, but we will try to do our best.
“When you change clubs, it’s always complicated.
“When I moved from Portugal to Monaco, it was difficult the first months. Now when I moved from Monaco to Manchester, it’s difficult as well, you have to adapt to the way the team plays.
“Every team plays in a different way. I am feeling better and better and I hope I can improve even more. I’ve learned a lot of things with all the staff and the players. It’s been fantastic for me.”
