Manchester City have set a new club record for the number of away league victories managed in a single season with a 3-1 win at Everton.

It was our 13th win on the road, eclipsing the 12 we recorded in the 2001-02 campaign under the guidance of Kevin Keegan in the second tier, which was equalled last season in the top flight under Pep Guardiola.

It means City are only the third club to beat all other teams in a single Premier League season, after Chelsea in 2005-06 and Manchester United in 2010-11.

City now need a win in next weekend’s Manchester derby to secure the Premier League title with six games to spare.

The victory at Goodison Park also marks a significant milestone for Guardiola.

It was the Catalan’s 50th Premier League win since his appointment in the summer of 2016, a period that has seen him take charge of 69 league games.

Everyone at City would like to congratulate Pep and all the players on our continued success this season.
