First up we head across to the Netherlands as two of our loanees made it onto the scoresheet in their recent matches.
NAC Breda secured a 3-0 victory over Heerenveen last weekend with City loan star Paolo Fernandes opening the proceedings with a magnificent long-range strike after just six minutes of play.
The youngster posted a video of his goal on his Twitter feed with a rocket emoji, and you can certainly see why…

Skipper and on-loan midfielder Pablo Mari also clinched a goal for Breda to help the club to their ninth win of their Eredivisie campaign.
Angelino and Manu Garcia also featured for the full duration of the game, while Thomas Agyepong replaced goalscorer Fernandes in the second half.
A league below, the Go Ahead Eagles suffered a 2-1 defeat to Den Bosch.
Our young loanee Aaron Nemane clinched a goal in the 74th minute, but it wasn’t enough to cancel out Sven Blummel’s brace.
Elsewhere in Europe, Girona’s La Liga clash against Getafe CF ended level – seeing the Spanish side add an extra point to make it 48 so far.
Pablo Maffeo was named in the starting eleven, while Aleix Garcia watched on from the bench.
Meanwhile, Yaw Yeboah was on the losing side with loan club Real Oviedo over the weekend following a 3-0 defeat to CD Numancia.
The 21-year-old came on in the 76th minute for team mate Ramon Folch but couldn’t affect the scoreline.
In Turkey, Jason Denayer made his 47th appearance for Galatasaray during their 2-0 victory over Besiktas increasing their lead at the top of the Super Lig table to 66 points.
Over to Scotland now as Celtic sealed an emphatic 5-0 win over rivals Celtic. Patrick Roberts – who has become a fan favourite during his loan spell with the Hoops – spent the duration of the clash on the bench.
Meanwhile, Brandon Barker added gloss to the Hibernian scoreline over the weekend by scoring the final goal in their 5-3 win over Kilmarnock. Barker took the ball all the way before slotting home his second ever goal for Hibs in injury time.
South of the border now as we take a look at how our loan stars in the English Championship got on this week.
Angus Gunn made his 49th start for Norwich City over the weekend during the Canaries’ 2-1 home win over Leeds United. The ‘keeper has rooted himself in goal since joining on loan during the summer.
For Burton Albion, Jacob Davenport made it into the starting line-up yet again and played for a majority of the 2-0 victory before being substituted for Jake Buxton four minutes before the final whistle.
Finally, Jack Harrison (Middlesbrough) and Bersant Celina (Ipswich Town) were both on the bench for their teams’ Championship matches this weekend.
That’s all for this week – but we will be back soon with the latest news and updates of how our loan stars have fared in their recent matches.
