Victory over Southampton on Sunday would see City become the first team to reach 100 points in a Premier League season.
It would be a fitting end to an already record-breaking campaign that has seen us set a number of significant milestones, including the most goals and wins ever recorded.
But rather than rest on our laurels, Zinchenko says hitting triple figures is at the forefront of the players’ minds.
“We’ve had an unbelievable season, but we have one more game – don’t forget about this,” he said.
“We play Southampton away and if we win we reach 100 points, so this is our goal for this season.”

It has been a breakthrough year for Zinchenko at City.
He has made 14 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side, after spending last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, and his improvement has been stark.
Benjamin Mendy’s injury means he has operated at left-back, an unusual role for a player who spent his youth career operating as a No. 10.
But it’s been a valuable learning experience playing in a position he says is complicated.
“I’m still learning and you can see that from the sidelines,” he said. “Full-back here is a special position because sometimes you have to go in the middle, to make four against three and sometimes you have to go wide – it depends on how the team against us plays.
“Manchester City always want to control the ball and can’t lose it in simple situations. That’s why full-back is an important position in this team.
“I don’t know if I will stay left-back. It’s good for me and for a coach, because they can put me anywhere.”
Zinchenko provided an unlikely talking point during last weekend’s title celebrations when he knocked the Premier League trophy off the plinth just before the players were due to lift it.
It brought plenty of laughter from his team-mates but, fortunately, no damage was done.
And says it was just one of those things and puts it down to his muscular physique!
“Oh my god! It was unlucky – too much gym, too much gym!,” he said.
“I was so scared – did you see my face on the picture? It can happen.”
Zinchenko also praised Yaya Toure, who played his final home game on Wednesday after a glittering eight-year career at the Etihad.
Toure won seven major honours during his time at City and was given an emotional farewell after the 3-1 win over Brighton.
Zinchenko was unequivocal in his praise for the Ivorian, a player he says has aided his development significantly.
“He’s an absolute legend and it has been a big pleasure to play with him,” he said. “And it was an honour to play in his last game for this club – I want to say thank you for what he did for me.
“Don’t forget he can speak Russian so he made it comfortable for me. He is an amazing personality and a kind person and as a player he is a legend.
“I will miss his jokes. He makes me happy. He is always welcome – he is the Man City man.”
