And it means we go into the final day with a chance of becoming the first side to reach 100 points in an English top-flight campaign.
The record - based on three points for a win - is held by Liverpool, who claimed the equivalent of 98 points across a 42-game season in 1978-79.
It would be a remarkable achievement if we hit triple figures.
City have won the Premier League title – the most competitive division in world football – at a canter.

And there are other significant milestones in sight.
Our 31 wins has already seen us set a new Premier League record – but victory at Southampton would see us eclipse Tottenham’s top-flight record set in 1960-61.
We are also on the brink of breaking the Premier League record for biggest winning margin. Manchester United finished 18 points clear in 1999-00 and we go into the last day 19 points ahead of second place.
We are just two goals short of the Club record 107, which we managed in 1936-37.
And if we can register a 16th away win of the season, that, too, would see us set a new Premier League record.
Plenty to play for.
3Assist kings
There’s one other statistical subplot to Sunday’s game.
Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne are currently joint top of the Premier League assist charts with 15 apiece and both will want to finish as the clear leader.
In fact, City occupy the top four positions on the assist chart. David Silva and Raheem Sterling are joint-third with 11 each.
4Chance for youngsters?
With the title wrapped up, will some our younger players be given more chances to shine?
Brahim Diaz looked excellent again when he came on against Brighton in midweek, and Phil Foden has shown his quality consistently whenever called upon.
And Lukas Nmecha, whose wonderful goalscoring record at PL2 level has seen him nominated for the Player of the Season award, has also been on the fringes of the first team, making three appearances this season and appearing on the bench a number of times.
