Some supporters count it as part of their matchday ritual and many enjoy reading it inside the stadium on the build-up to kick-off.
City’s programme has been around a long time - as have many other clubs’ programmes - and this fine collection in our archives.

Donated by lifelong Blue David Warner, these programmes originally cost just one penny and pre-date the end of World War Two.
The programme at the front of this collection is from April 1944 and is for the Football League War Cup north semi-final replay against Blackpool at Maine Road.
Also, inside one of the collection is a Frank Swift farewell dinner feature, with the legendary City keeper clearly close to the end of an illustrious career with the Blues.
City lost to the Seasiders, but leafing through this 74-year-old programme was fascinating, with the features, team news and ads all well presented and written - as you’d expect.
It’s likely many thousands were printed and that others still survive - the value of them is not huge - maybe up to £5 or a bit more - but it is a slice of Club history that has been preserved for others.
David says he bought the programmes as part of his collection of Club memorabilia, and they are not something he has had in his family for generations, so donating them to the Club is much appreciated.
