Another busy round of international matches wrapped up yesterday. Here's how our players fared...

Gabriel Jesus and Danilo both featured for Brazil as the Selacao took the bragging in a friendly clash with South American rivals Argentina in Saudi Arabia.

An injury time strike from Miranda helped secured a narrow 1-0 victory for Brazil over an Argentina side which contained City central defender Nicolas Otamendi.

Blues goalkeeper Ederson was an unused substitute for the Brazilians in a match dubbed the Saudi Superclassico, which was staged at Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports Centre.

The only downside was the fact that Danilo was forced off early in the second half with what appeared to be a leg injury.

Elsewhere in the UEFA Nations League group games, Leroy Sane was part of a Germany side edged out 2-1 by world champions France in Group A1 clash in Paris.

The City winger played for 75 minutes in a high-quality clash at the Stade de France.

Toni Kroos had given the Germans a 14th minute lead from the penalty spot before Antoine Griezmann levelled on the hour. Atletico Madrid then earned all three points for the hosts by converting an 80th minute winner.

Oleksandr Zinchenko came on as a late substitute as Ukraine beat the Czech Republic 1-0 in Kiev in Group B1.  Ruslan Malinovskiy’s 43rd minute goal, ultimately proving decisive.
