Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane are the September Etihad Player of the Month nominees.

The poll is now open with Aguero nominated for a second month in succession.

It was Sergio who ran away with the August vote, with Bernardo second and Benjamin Mendy third with a record number of entries received.

This month promises to be a close-run vote.

Raheem Sterling was in electric form throughout September.

The England winger has returned from the World Cup full of confidence and has been thrilling to watch. He is scoring and making goals and some of his performances have been nothing short of sensational.

Leroy Sane has been back to his very best during September.

The flying winger scored and assisted goals last month as he tormented defences with his slalom trademark dribbles (along with the odd nutmeg here and there!)

Finally, Sergio - what can we say about a striker who, if anything, looks in better shape than ever?

A goal-machine he most certainly is, but his overall team-play has lifted the Argentine to another level.
