The skipper has been selected for Belgium’s upcoming Nations League game against Switzerland and friendly against Holland.

City’s Three Lions will play back-to-back UEFA Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain – Fabian Delph misses out due to injury.

Germany: Leroy Sane
Ilkay Gundogan’s injury sees him miss Germany’s UEFA Nations League double-header against Holland and France.
Leroy Sane, however, has been selected and should feature in both games.

Portugal: Bernardo Silva
Bernardo has won selection for Portugal and plays two away games for his country – away to Poland and then a tad closer to Manchester when Scotland host the Portuguese.

Ukraine: Oleksandr Zinchenko
Oleks Zinchenko will look to add to the 19 caps he has already won for his country when Ukraine play a friendly and UEFA Nations League match.
The first is on Wednesday evening and the second on Tuesday.

Argentina: Nicolas Otamendi
Nicolas Otamendi will travel alone from Manchester to link up with Argentina who again have left Sergio Aguero out of their selection – what a forward line they must have.
Both games for La Albiceleste are friendlies with plenty of travelling involved.

England Under-21s: Phil Foden
City youngster Phil Foden has won his first Under-21 call-up and will play two UEFA U21 Euro Qualifiers for Aidy Boothroyd’s team who require one point to secure a place in next summer’s finals.

Meanwhile, 13 of Nick Cushing’s side were called-up for international action.
For England, skipper Steph Houghton, Abbie McManus, Nikita Parris, Keira Walsh and Mel Lawley were all named in the Lioness squad ahead of friendlies against Brazil and Australia, while ‘keeper Karen Bardsley and midfielder Jill Scott withdrew from international duty and returned to the club with ankle problems.
At Youth level, Esme Morgan and 16-year-old Jess Park travelled away with the England ahead of their U19s women’s Euro qualifiers against Malta, Croatia and Slovakia.
Elsewhere Nadia Nadim, Mie Leth Jans (both Denmark) and Tessa Wullaert (Belgium) stepped up to the international stage to fight for a spot in the all-important Women’s World Cup in France next year.
Oversees, our latest recruit Janine Beckie joined her national side, Canada, to compete in the CONCACAF Women’s Championships with fixtures against Jamaica, Cuba and Costa Rica.
