Sergio Aguero’s goal at Burnley this afternoon means he is only the second player to score 20 goals or more in six different Premier League seasons.
Only Alan Shearer, who managed seven seasons, has done it more often, and only Thierry Henry can match Aguero’s record of scoring 20 or more in five consecutive campaigns.
Aguero now has 230 Manchester City goals and is the Club’s all-time leading goalscorer.
He also stands on the brink of another significant milestone. His next Premier League hat-trick would be his 12th since joining City in 2011, which would see him move clear of Shearer who has 11.
Everyone at City would like to congratulate Sergio on his continued excellence in a blue shirt.
