Last year’s Champions League finalists will no doubt provide stern opposition for a City side who will look to continue our fast start to the campaign, as we bid to lift the Premier League for the third consecutive season.

To put it simply: when Oleksandr Zinchenko turns out for City in the Premier League, we win.
The Ukrainian currently boasts an incredible 100 percent win record from his 23 matches in the English top-flight, the highest in Premier League history.
Furthermore, another three points this weekend would see him double the previous record, set by former Manchester United and Bolton midfielder Quinton Fortune and now shared by teammate, Phil Foden.
Provided he features this weekend, the full-back might even pick up yet another individual accolade as, alongside teammate David Silva, he can claim the longest ever consecutive Premier League winning streak.
However, because the Spaniard’s own personal hot streak ended in April 2018, spanning most of our Centurions campaign, Oleks will become the outright holder if we do the business at the Etihad on Saturday.
Could Sergio surpass Shearer?
Sergio Aguero is no stranger to breaking a record or two, and he once again stands on the brink of a milestone.
A hat-trick this weekend would be his twelfth in the English top-flight, and one that would see him move clear of Alan Shearer to become the Premier League’s leading treble scorer.
However, despite notching an incredible ten strikes in seven Premier League matches against Spurs in his first four seasons at City, he has not found the net in our previous seven encounters.
But, having got up and running for the season against West Ham and given his prolific overall record, Aguero could well kill two birds with one stone this weekend.
No chance of a 0-0
Historically speaking, City and Spurs are synonymous with finding the back of the net and the two sides have not played out a goalless draw in our previous 17 meetings.
The last stalemate came back an in August 2010, on the opening day of the campaign, when Aleks Kolarov, David Silva and Yaya Toure all made their City debuts.
And given the attacking options both teams have at their disposal, it will come as no surprise to discover that the top-flight’s leading scorer has plied their trade at one club or the other in three of the past five seasons.
