Manchester City have one more week to bring in new faces as the Premier League transfer deadline approaches.

The Blues welcomed Rodri and Angelino to the Etihad Stadium last month, but Pep Guardiola has until 5pm on Thursday 8 August if he wants to add to our squad further.

However, we are still able to sell to clubs outside of the Premier League and Championship’s transfer window after that deadline.

For example, Leagues One and Two, the Scottish Premier League and the top domestic divisions across Europe can still do business until 2nd September, while the Italian window shuts on 23 August.

Midfielders Douglas Luiz and Fabian Delph have already made the switch to Aston Villa and Everton, while our former captain Vincent Kompany re-joined Anderlecht as player-manager in May after 11 years of stellar service.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Aro Muric have also moved on season-long loans to Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest respectively.

This is the second season in which the transfer window will close before the start of the new campaign, replacing the previous deadline of 31 August.

It comes two days before our Premier League curtain-raiser away to West Ham United as we look to claim a third successive Premier League title.
