Sergio Aguero has ended the decade as the Premier League's top scorer.

The Argentine has scored a remarkable 174 league goals in the 2010s – 38 ahead of nearest rival Harry Kane.

Wayne Rooney is third on the list with 114, followed by Romelu Lukaku on 113 and Robin van Persie on 98.

The striker is also sixth in the top flight’s all-time scoring list and is on course to become the Premier League’s top foreign goal scorer, as he sits one strike away from Thierry Henry. 

He is three goals behind Frank Lampard and 13 goals behind third-placed Andy Cole.

Aguero joined the Club in 2011 and in his eight full seasons to date, he has scored 30 or more in the Premier League on six occasions.

He managed to find the net a remarkable 23 times in his first season in English football, firing City to Premier League glory in sensational fashion with almost the last kick of the game against QPR.

The 31-year-old has won the Premier League Player of the Month award on six occasions, whilst also being awarded the Golden Boot once after scoring 26 league goals in the 2014/15 season.

During his time at City, Aguero has won four Premier League titles, an FA Cup and four League Cups.
