The 22-year-old has five goals in his last three games and made history with his hat-trick in Croatia, as he became the youngest Brazilian to go past 10 goals in the Champions League.

It was a landmark moment for Jesus, who is only the fourth Brazilian to net multiple trebles in Europe’s premier club cup competition and he reflected with pride at his latest achievement.
In the absence of the injured Sergio Aguero, he has hit form at a crucial time and now wants to continue his fine start to December, admitting he was disappointed by his return last month.
“It’s special,” he said after claiming his second Champions League hat-trick.
“When I was young, I’d think about the Champions League – I wanted to play, I wanted to score, I wanted the ball. For me it’s a very special moment when I score goals and a hat-trick as well.
“I have to do my job. My job is to score goals and help the team, without the ball and with the ball. Last month, I was not scoring and I feel so bad because I have to score and help my teammates.
“Now the goals are coming so I’m so happy but I cannot stop – I have to keep scoring.”
City fell behind after 10 minutes against Dinamo, who came into the game knowing a win would give them a chance to reach the last 16.
Dani Olmo’s emphatic volley gave them a platform to build on and with so much at stake it could have made for a tough night for the already qualified City.
But Pep Guardiola’s side responded well to the set-back and Jesus was impressed with his team-mates’ reaction and level of performance after conceding early on.
“They played well,” he added. “They pass the ball in behind, fight with strikers who are strong and keep the ball.
“It’s always difficult when your opponent scores the first goal, and early. You have to wake up and play well.
“That’s what we did. After the goal, we didn’t concede many more chances. That’s good for the defenders and Claudio [Bravo].
“We played so well after we conceded and won the game.”
