Kevin De Bruyne’s thunderous effort against Newcastle United has been voted the Premier League Goal of the Month for November.

The Belgian executed a sweetly struck half-volley to restore City’s lead in the 2-2 draw at St James’ Park, controlling a clearance with his chest before thumping an unstoppable 20-yard strike in off the crossbar.

A goal of the season contender, it was another moment of quality from De Bruyne, to reinforce his status as one of the league’s most technically gifted players.

The 28-year-old beat off fierce competition from Tammy Abraham, Harry Wilson, Ruben Neves, Fabinho, Joao Moutinho and Jonjo Shelvey to the monthly prize.

Everyone at City congratulates Kevin on his latest award win.
