The Belgian delivered another man-of-the-match display on Saturday as City beat in-form Leicester 3-1 at the Etihad, just days after his wonderful performance in the win at Arsenal.
He was central to all of City’s best attacking moments, with his ability to drive with the ball and his range of passing causing Leicester problems all evening.
His inch-perfect cross for Gabriel Jesus saw us put the game beyond Leicester - his tenth assist of the season so far, which is more than any other player in the division.
And afterwards, Guardiola was full of praise for his talisman.
“Kevin we don’t have doubts about,” he said. “We cannot expect him to win the game every three days for us.
“It’s not just with the ball it’s without. He has everything.
“We want to play good. We have to make a fluent attack and today we did.
“The most difficult thing in football is to play simple and today we did it. Then everything comes and the quality of the players comes out.
“In two seasons before we played a lot of games the way we did today. Hopefully in the future we can continue in this level.”

Guardiola was pleased with the quality his side produced against a team who have excelled this term.
He thanked them for their performance, and praised their ability to minimise the threat of Jamie Vardy.
“We made an incredible performance with the ball and without the ball,” he said.
“Having Vardy there is always dangerous, but we were always at a high, high level.
“Thank you so much to the players for following me. We try and convince the players this is the team we want to be.
“Against a team like Leicester we scored three goals and we could have scored more. That means a lot for the quality and mentality.”
