Sergio Aguero's back-to-back first minute goals have created Premier League history.

The Blues’ all-time record goal-scorer managed a goal after 24 seconds against Newcastle and 46 seconds against Arsenal - a feat that has never been achieved before by any club, let alone one player.

Aguero’s quick-fire strikes were also the fastest Premier League goals of the season.

For a player with so many individual achievements, this latest record is a bit special.

There is no known record of any City player ever scoring successive first-minute goals.

Sergio’s tenth hat-trick in the Premier League, leaves him one shy of Alan Shearer’s 11 record and it was also his 14th in all competitions for the Blues.

And the Argentina striker is also on the cusp of another major City milestone.

His treble against the Gunners (who City beat for the fourth time in succession for the first time in 82 years) took his overall league goals tally to 157 - just one short of long-time joint record league goal-scorers Tommy Johnson and Eric Brook.

Kun became the all-time leading scorer in all competitions last season when he scored his 178th for the Club, but he has since added another 41 goals and is currently on 219.

He is eighth highest Premier League scorer of all-time and seven more goals will take him above Jermaine Defoe (162) and Robbie Fowler (163) into sixth - Thierry Henry’s 175 will be his next target and put him in the top five.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling’s two assists against the Gunners completed a notable century.

The City and England winger is the seventh youngest player to be involved in 100 Premier League goals, with 59 scored and 41 assisted to date.

Congratulations to Sergio and Raheem!
