Manchester City have completed an historic weekend, winning two major trophies spanning the men’s and women’s game.
City beat Arsenal on penalties on Saturday at Bramall Lane to win the Club’s third Continental Cup, with goalkeeper Karen Bardsley the hero in the shoot-out.
And on Sunday, Pep Guardiola’s side followed suit with a win over Chelsea at Wembley to seal our fourth Carabao Cup in six seasons.
That game was also settled by penalties, with Raheem Sterling firing in the winning spot kick.
It represents a significant success for the Club and everyone at City would like to congratulate Nick Cushing, Pep Guardiola and all the players on their fantastic achievements.
