City have left for China on the 2019 pre-season tour that will also take Pep Guardiola’s squad to Hong Kong and Japan.

City will first take on Premier League rivals West Ham United in the Premier League Asia Trophy opener at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center in Nanjing, China on Wednesday, July 17, kick off 1.30pm (BST).

City will then move on to Shanghai where we will take part in either the PL Asia Trophy final or play-off, depending on results in our opening fixture, on Saturday, July 20.

That game will be staged at Shanghai’s Hongkou Football Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 10am or 12.30pm (BST).

City’s games in China can be watched live on the new Man City for TV OTT streaming app (excluding UK and Ireland)

The tour then moves location to Hong Kong where City will take on Hong Kong Premier League champions Kitchee FC on Wednesday, July 24.

The game will be staged at the Hong Kong Stadium, kick-off 1pm (BST) and tickets are on sale here

Pep Guardiola’s Fourmidables then wrap up our trip to Asia by flying to Japan where, on Saturday July 27, we will play City Football Group’s sister club Yokohama F Marinos.

The game will be staged at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, kick-off 11.30am (BST).

Premier League Asia Trophy details

Alongside City, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also competing in the biennial tournament.

The tournament will take place in two locations, Nanjing and Shanghai, giving more fans the opportunity to enjoy the Premier League experience and see a world-class line-up of players and managers.

All four teams will play in a double-header at Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre on Wednesday 17 July, followed by the third-fourth place playoff and the final, which will both be staged at Shanghai’s Hongkou Stadium on Saturday 20 July.
