Eric Garcia and his Spanish colleagues were crowned UEFA Under-19 European champions this evening.
The young Manchester City defender played the full 90 minutes and was a tower of strength at the back as Spain overcame Iberian rivals Portugal 2-0 in the final held at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan, Armenia.
Valencia winger Ferran Torres was the match-winner for Spain, scoring two goals either side of half time to down the defending champions.
For Spain it marked their first Under-19 European title since 2015 and was their eighth Under-19 crown in total.
