The City boss has already bolstered his options by bringing in midfielder from Rodri from Atletico Madrid and full-back Angelino from PSV Eindhoven.
And although he admits the conditions of the transfer market are difficult, he says the Club are on the hunt of a centre-half to replace Vincent Kompany.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s game against Yokohama F. Marinos, Guardiola said: “No, not many [more will come in]. I like the faces that we have!
“Maybe but transfer market is so difficult and the team is good enough. Maybe zero, maybe one, maybe one and a half!
“If we can we will, if we can’t we will survive without a new central defender.”

The boss was also asked specifically about Dani Alves, a free agent after leaving Paris Saint Germain at the end of last season.
The 36-year-old is widely considered to be the finest right-back of a generation, having amassed a glittering CV that includes 36 major club honours.
Guardiola says he’s a player he admires greatly after their time working with the Brazilian at Barcelona, but says he has a full complement of right-backs.
“All the important clubs in the world know his situation and the incredible player he is,” he said. “An extraordinary person but we have two incredible full backs.”
Guardiola took time to defend John Stones, a player who came in for some criticism after a high-profile error playing for England in this summer’s UEFA Nations League.
The City manager, always a strong advocate of Stones, says he isn’t a player who makes too many mistakes, but challenged the centre-back to make the necessary adjustments that will see his level improve.
“He’s a young player,” Guardiola said. “He’s made mistakes once or twice, not too much.
“This kind of situation, if the player is open minded, you become stronger.
“Football is more mistakes than success, and you lose more than you win. It’s a process to be better. It depends on him.”
