Manchester City have a near-fully fit squad for the trip to Fulham on Saturday.

Benjamin Mendy has trained this week and is in line for a return, and Fernandinho, Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany and John Stones are also fit and ready to go.

Guardiola says other than Fabian Delph and long-term absentee Claudio Bravo, everyone is available for selection.

“Everybody came back fit - Fernandinho, Kevin, Vincent - yeah, everyone is okay,” he said.

“Except Fabian Delph, the other people are fit.

“Yeah [Mendy is fit]. Of course, he needs time but he has trained the last three days and his reaction is very good.

“Hopefully he will play a big part.

“We have 21 players. We have to compete with each other in positions.

City remain on course for an unprecedented quadruple.

Having won the Carabao Cup last month, we have an FA Cup semi-final and Champions League quarter-final to look forward to next week.

It’s meant City have had to negotiate a punishing schedule that shows no sign of abating, but Guardiola refuses to complain.

“It is what it is,” he said. “Sky, BT they decide when we play.

“After international break, we come back good. We have done and incredible amount of points.

“We will play 11 games for sure and if we deserve, we could play 12, 14 or maybe 15. But we have to deserve it.”
