WATCH: Head tennis challenge | Ederson v Bernardo
Everybody has contributed, from Ederson (2 assists) to the strikers, and hopefully, these stats are only going to get better and more impressive in the final weeks of this unforgettable campaign.
In our list, an assist is the last player to pass the ball before a goal is scored and any penalties won.
So, let’s take a look at the Blues’ main threats and creators in terms of stats in all competitions so far…
35 - Sergio Aguero 28 goals, 7 assists
Incredible return from an incredible player.
Sergio is just five goals shy of equalling his best-ever tally for City and who would bet against him doing even better than that?
The Argentine is in the form of his life, has never looked sharper and his goals will be crucial in the weeks that remain.
35 - Raheem Sterling 19 goals, 16 assists
Yet another superb season from Raheem.
He has deservedly won plaudits from all corners this campaign for his finishing and creative contribution this term and he is within sight of his best season yet in terms of goal scored.
He needs just another four to equal last season’s 23 goals scored and let’s not forget the two he scored for England against Spain last October.
30 – Leroy Sane 14 goals, 16 assists
Leroy’s stats have been quietly stacking up this season and he has equalled last season’s tally of 14 goals scored.
With 16 assists, it makes for an irresistible wing partnership with Sterling, with the pair already creating 32 goals for team-mates this season.
Expect a productive end to the season from the young German.
22 – Riyad Mahrez 11 goals, 11 assists
Very impressive stats from our Algerian winger.
Riyad has had to be patient in terms of playing time and has a number of appearances off the bench.
It takes a little adjusting to slot into this slick City outfit, but 22 direct involvements in goals is testament to his undoubted ability.
22 – David Silva 9 goals, 13 assists
City’s creator-in-chief for almost a decade is still doing what he does best.
El Mago’s stats don’t show the amount of moves he was involved in that also led to goals, but that’s what he is so good at.
Retiring from national team duty has keep David fresh – and if he can continue to pull the strings in midfield, create and pop up with the odd goal along the way in the weeks that remain, he could be pivotal in the Blues winning more silverware.
20 - Gabriel Jesus 17 goals, 3 assists
The young Brazilian may have not had as many starts as the red-hot Aguero this season, but he has made a massive contribution, nonetheless.
Gabriel has already equalled last season’s tally of 17 goals and is likely to beat that figure with a minimum of 11 games remaining.
He has bagged 41 goals in just 90 appearances for the Blues – evidence of a natural-born striker who is, let’s not forget, still only 21.
18 – Bernardo 10 goals, 8 assists
While Bernardo brings creative flair, vision and goals, the Portuguese playmaker also makes a huge contribution in terms of driving the team forward.
He’s become a huge crowd favourite this season and, like many of his team-mates, has already equalled his goals tally for last season.
A wonderful campaign from a player who is effervescent and crucial to everything the Blues do.
Honourable mentions…
Ilkay Gundogan (5 goals, 7 assists), Kevin De Bruyne (4 goals, 5 assists) and Phil Foden (6 goals, 2 assists) have all made massive contributions, too.
Ilkay has played a deeper role for many games this season, KDB has missed most of the campaign with injury and Foden’s returns for minutes played is hugely impressive.
