Key facts

Spurs have been a Premier League title challenger for several seasons, becoming a major force in English football.

The fact Spurs have performed so well despite not being able to play at their own stadium for the past two seasons is testament to their quality and mentality.

Their new ground - the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - is scheduled to be in operation this April after a lengthy delay.

Confirmation on the venue for the first leg against City is expected shortly.

The teams will meet in the Premier League immediately after the second leg - meaning City and Spurs will play each other three times in 12 days!

The dates for the games are: Spurs v City 1st leg will be on 9 April and the return at the Etihad on 17 April - both games kick-off at 8pm.

The City or Spurs will meet the winners of the Ajax v Juventus quarter-final at the semi-final stage.
