Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has been called up to the England U21 squad for their upcoming double-header.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side face Poland at Ashton Gate on Thursday 21 March, before welcoming Germany to Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium on Tuesday 26 March.
Both games will kick-off at 7.45pm.
City’s Loan Team Manager Joleon Lescott will work alongside Boothroyd’s coaching staff as part of an elite coach placement programme, a partnership with The FA and PFA that is designed to provide under-represented groups with coaching opportunities within the England set-up.
