Sergio Aguero has been nominated for the EA Sports Player of the Month award.
Aguero appeared in all four of City’s Premier League matches last month, with the Blues taking maximum points.
Aguero scored seven goals in total, including hat-tricks against Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Argentine, City’s greatest-ever goalscorer, has now equalled Alan Shearer’s record of 11 Premier League trebles and currently has 18 goals for the season.
Ashley Barnes (Burnley), Sean Longstaff (Newcastle), Sadio Mane (Liverpool), Paul Pogba (Manchester United), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) and Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) have also been shortlisted.
