The Belgian midfielder missed City’s 2-0 Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb with a groin injury picked up against Everton last weekend.
Guardiola refused to rule the playmaker out of the Wolves game but said it is too early to make a decision.
“It’s not serious but today he could not play,” explained the boss after overseeing City’s eclipse of Dinamo.
“We will see for Sunday. Right now, I don’t know.
“Maybe he can get fit. We will see.
“After the international break he will be ready.”
De Bruyne‘s injury was confirmed in the hours before City kicked off against the Croatians and he is undergoing a rehabilitation programme overseen by the Club’s medical staff.
Everyone at City wishes Kevin a speedy recovery and we all look forward to seeing back in blue soon.
