Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez have been nominated for the September EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award.

De Bruyne has started the season superbly and his fine form continued last month, producing three assists in two starts and scoring a brilliant goal to cap our 8-0 win over Watford.

Indeed, his performance against Quique Sánchez Flores’s side was widely lauded, with the Belgian at his effortless best throughout.

And Mahrez, too, has impressed this term with his ability to beat players and create space. September saw him score back-to-back free-kicks in the wins over Watford and Everton, with his display at Goodison Park earning him the man-of-the-match award.

The pair have bene shortlisted alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal), John McGinn (Aston Villa), Son Heung-min (Tottenham), Ricardo Pereira (Leicester) and Callum Wilson (Bournemouth).

You can vote for your pick on the EA Sports website – voting closes at 6pm Monday 7 October.

The winner will be announced at 11am on Friday 11 October.
