Phil Foden has been named on a 20-man shortlist for this year's FIFA Golden Boy award.

Having been named on an initial 40-man list last month, Foden has now made the final group of nominees to win the coveted prize.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fine 2019, establishing himself in the City first-team squad and becoming an England Under-21 regular.

All nominees for the award must be under the age of 21 and play in one of Europe’s top-tier sides.

The winner will be announced on Monday 16 December.
