Sergio Aguero has the Etihad Player of the Month vote for his performances during August.

City’s all-time record goal-scorer found the next six times during August, but still had to fight off the challenge of Raheem Sterling and David Silva.

Aguero also won the August vote for the 2018/19 campaign, and again in January.

His six August goals came against West Ham, Spurs before bagging a brace against Bournemouth and another Brighton.

He now has 170 Premier League goals and is sixth in the all-time top scorers list with Thierry Henry (175) and Frank Lampard (177) firmly in his sights.
