Sergio Aguero has been named Etihad Player of the Month for January.
The Argentine striker fought off stiff competition from fellow nominees, Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva, amassing more votes in the fan poll to claim the first monthly prize of 2020.
Aguero enjoyed a fine January.
He scored seven times and netted a superb treble in the 6-1 win over Aston Villa, breaking the Premier League hat-trick record and becoming the competition’s highest overseas goal scorer in the process.
