The players returned for pre season last week to several changes at their training HQ.
A new video lounge has been completed while the pitches have all been resurfaced.
The manager is determined to provide the best for his squad as he builds for the future.
And he has asked his squad to adhere to what he calls; "common sense rules" which he believes will become good habits.
"We have treated the players like grown men, like professionals," explained the manager.
"We want them to keep the place tidy and they know I don’t like lateness. They are commonsense rules but ones that become good habits and you cannot have too many of those because they soon become second nature.
"Credit to the chairman we have a smashing training ground. The pitches have all been resurfaced again and they were good last year.
"They are in fantastic condition. We have also added to coaching staff and medical staff.
"It is all there for the players but that is what you have to do in modern football.
"Everything is laid out for them and it all enhances the professionalism of the club."
