Andrew Cole has completed his free transfer to Manchester City from Fulham, and will be available for selection in the second match of the pre-season tour of Thailand.

The 33 year-old striker flew out to Bangkok on Monday in anticipation of the deal’s completion following his passing of a medical.

The striker’s consistency has been earmarked by Stuart Pearce as key to the signing of the second most successful marksman in Premiership history.

“Andy has played 100 games in the last three years and was sixth or seventh goal scorer last season when Fulham struggled. He has a top class pedigree and I know our younger players can learn from him.”
