The French utility player has returned to pre-season training but has now been sidelined with a hamstring problem.
“We have had to pull Antoine out of pre season training for what I hope will be no longer than two weeks,” explained Stuart Pearce.
“He has a slight tight hamstring so our decision to pull him out is more precautionary than anything else.”
The thirty year old has played across midfield for the Blues since his switch to City from Lens two seasons ago.
He has also played in the striker’s role where Stuart Pearce used him in the final matches of last season.
The manager will decide between Ishmael Miller and Karl Bermingham, two Academy graduates, as Antoine Sibierski’s replacement on the five day trip to Bangkok.
