Stuart Pearce has reacted to the 3-2 pre-season victory over Rochdale at Spotland.
Speaking to mcfc.co.uk, Pearce said: “We were expected to win here today and maybe we should have done that a bit more comfortably than we did, but credit to them they did well today, so I quite pleased.”
And after a whole host of changes during the second half, the Manager added: “Most of my seniors that I wanted to had 70 minutes today.
“Still the passing is not as good as we want and we gave the ball away too cheaply.
“The fitness is coming and that’s what is pleasing and also coming out of the game with no injuries.”
