Ishmael Miller has made a superb start to his loan spell at West Brom.

The striker, who moved to the Hawthorns to start his season-long stint with the Baggies this week, scored a stunning solo goal just after coming on as a second-half substitute.

West Brom manager Tony Mowbray enthused about the powerful 20-year-old:

“I knew he was capable of producing something like that.

“We knew what Ishmael’s attributes were before we signed him - and one of those is brutality, if that is the right word to use.

“He has got size, strength, a burst of pace and he came up with a clinical finish as well.”

Miller is a product of the Club’s Academy, whose Under 18 side got their league campaign off to a flyer with a 7-0 demolition of Watford away.

Ryan McGivern scored a hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Ian Daly, James Poole, Robbie Mak and Donal McDermott.
