Rolando Bianchi is trying to stay level-headed ahead of Sunday’s derby.

The Italian striker, who marked his City debut with a goal last Saturday at Upton Park, knows just how excited everyone around the club is ahead of the game against United and wants to make his mark in the best way he knows how.

Rolando says: “It would be a dream for me to score in this game, there is no doubt about that but we cannot get carried away with the fact that we have won twice and they have not won yet.

“We know they have quality players and we will need full concentration and full commitment on the pitch and the full backing of our fans on the pitch.

“I will probably be up against Rio Ferdinand and Vidic who are both top class defenders but there are eleven quality players on each team and those that make the fewest mistakes are the ones most likely to win.”

With a real buzz around City following the two wins and two clean sheets in the opening two games of the season, the 24-year-old adds:

“We are in the best possible shape from a mental point of view to play this game after the winning start that we have had.”
